Junior Gap Claims Analyst

Job Summary

The GAP Claims Analyst will concentrate on analyzing and reviewing claims for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility, while in direct contact with agents, claimants, inspection agencies, insurance, and finance companies.

• Reviewing incoming GAP claim documents and following up accordingly
• Identifying needed information to process and complete GAP claims
• Sending written correspondence to finance companies and contract holders
• Reviewing, evaluating, and processing GAP claims for payment
• Reviewing and processing third-party GAP inspections to determine proper course of action
• Assisting underwriting with incomplete information on the GAP waivers
• Answering GAP customer’s questions
• Working collectively with department personnel to finalize GAP claims
• Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong analytical, organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent research skills and the ability to effectively communicate conclusions and recommendations both written and verbally
• Detailed oriented, self-starter and meets deadlines
• Proficient mathematical, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office products skills
• All other duties as assigned by Management personnel

• Proficiency in mathematics
• Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat & Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
