The Portfolio Reporting Associate Role
Element Pointe Family Office’s Portfolio Reporting Associate is a detail‑oriented professional who is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, and committed to delivering a high‑quality, accurate work‑product on a time‑sensitive basis. The role is a mix of finance and technology.
ADDEPAR KNOWLEDGE AND PROFICIENCY IS ESSENTIAL.
- Set up and maintain financial software applications.
- Financial reporting & data aggregation utilizing Addepar and other technology tools.
- Analyze and explain portfolio performance information.
- Conduct account‑level reconciliation, including research and resolution of cost basis information, cash flow information, and information breaks.
- Analyze private‑equity & hedge‑fund statements, and capital call and distribution notices, for input into portfolio reporting system.
- Work with advisors and executive team to resolve data or reporting issues.
- Client onboarding into Addepar and other technology tools.
- Quarterly and ad‑hoc reporting for all client portfolios.
- Customized ad‑hoc reporting of client portfolios for client communications as well as internal investment team and management meetings.
- Maintenance of client Addepar portals.
- Work as part of an ensemble team to ensure all projects are completed on time and to detailed specifications.
- Establish operational effectiveness through the development/adoption of policies, procedures and controls.
- Series 65 or willing to obtain within three months of hire date.
- Strong understanding of financial instruments.
- Strong logical reasoning and critical thinking skills.
- Significant experience working with Addepar and knowledge of Addepar logic.
- Experience working with custodians such as Schwab and Fidelity.
- Well‑organized and self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of database concepts and programming.
- Knowledge of various financial products, including alternative investments.
- Knowledge of performance reporting calculations and methodologies.
- Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is a plus.
