Director of Accounting The Execu|Search Group
• Miami, Florida

• Provide leadership and oversight for the day-to-day accounting operations of the firm's flagship funds and co-investment funds
• Coordinate external audits and supervise a team of 2-3 Accountants
• Work closely with General Partners (GPs) and Investor Relations (IR) team to support fund activities and LP reporting
• Review books and records, manage capital activities, including management fees, and oversee allocations to LPs
• Handle ad-hoc, quarterly, and annual LP reporting, including administration of capital calls and distributions
• Oversee waterfall models and performance reporting, ensuring accuracy and transparency in fund operations
• Coordinate with fund administrators for outsourced funds
• Lead the annual PE funds audit process, managing coordination with external auditors
• Review quarterly fund valuations and ensure compliance with SEC regulations and GAAP standards
• Collaborate with internal tax staff and external service providers, including attorneys, consultants, and bankers
• Manage quarterly financial closings, reviewing P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements for accuracy
• Partner with Investor Relations team to review quarterly Limited Partner materials and marketing decks
• Provide assistance with periodic portfolio company deal closings, ensuring smooth transaction processes

• 8+ years of experience in Commercial Real Estate Accounting
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Expertise in Property Accounting, Joint Ventures, and Real Estate Funds
• Strong acumen and experience with Private Equity Fund financial operations and industry best practices
• General understanding of GAAP and partnership accounting for private equity funds
• Active experience in a Supervisory role, with demonstrated leadership abilities
• Microsoft Excel proficeint

• CPA designation
• Public Accounting Background
• Experience with Yardi software
