Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $82,820 per year + year-end bonus and additional incentives
Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Business Banker to develop and manage relationships with small and middle-market business clients. This role is ideal for a motivated banking professional with strong business development skills, a proven ability to build a book of business, and a passion for helping businesses achieve their financial goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow a portfolio of business banking clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and community involvement.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
- Assess clients’ financial needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services.
- Generate deposits, loans, treasury management, and other business banking solutions.
- Work closely with credit and operational teams to support loan requests and client needs.
- Conduct regular client meetings and proactively identify opportunities for relationship expansion.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business clients.
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- 3+ years of business banking, commercial banking, or relationship management experience.
- Proven success in business development and client acquisition.
- Existing book of business or established business network preferred.
- Experience with commercial and/or small business lending.
- Strong understanding of business banking products and financial solutions.
- Excellent sales, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to independently develop new business and meet growth objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- $82,820 annual base salary
