The Wealth Management Client Associate provides high-quality administrative, operational, and client service support to Financial Advisors and their clients. This role serves as a key point of contact for clients, helping ensure their needs are handled efficiently while maintaining a high standard of professionalism, accuracy, confidentiality, and service.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment. They should enjoy building strong client relationships and collaborating closely with Financial Advisors and other members of the wealth management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing responsive and professional service by phone, email, and in person.
- Assist clients with account-related requests, including account openings, transfers, distributions, deposits, withdrawals, and maintenance.
- Prepare and process client paperwork and documentation while ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with custodians, investment platforms, and internal departments to resolve client requests and operational issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and information.
- Assist Financial Advisors with daily administrative and operational activities.
- Prepare client meeting materials, reports, presentations, and other documentation as needed.
- Schedule client appointments and assist with meeting preparation and follow-up.
- Monitor outstanding client requests and proactively communicate updates and next steps.
- Handle sensitive financial and personal information with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Support client onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with compliance-related documentation and follow established regulatory and firm procedures.
- Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, advisors, and internal business partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred, particularly in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- 1–3+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, banking, investment management, or a related client-service environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and client-service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Familiarity with investment accounts, financial products, and wealth management processes is a plus.
