  • Own the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reporting packages.
  • Develop and maintain center-level P&Ls to provide visibility into the financial performance, profitability, and cost structure of individual medical centers and franchise operations.
  • Establish consistent reporting processes, financial metrics, and analytical tools to improve the accuracy, timeliness, and usefulness of financial information.
  • Identify trends, investigate variances, and provide clear explanations of financial performance to senior leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Analyze medical expense data, claims trends, utilization patterns, and per-member-per-month (PMPM) costs to identify financial trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate medical expense performance against budget, forecast, historical results, and relevant benchmarks.
  • Partner with finance and operational teams to investigate cost drivers, unusual claims patterns, utilization trends, and other factors impacting financial performance.
  • Develop recurring reporting and analytical tools to monitor medical expense performance and support financial decision-making across value-based care operations.
  • Translate complex healthcare financial and claims data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Perform ad hoc financial analyses, scenario modeling, and special projects as requested by finance leadership.
  • Improve the efficiency and reliability of recurring financial reporting, forecasting, and analytical processes.
  • Build and maintain scalable Excel-based models, reporting templates, and dashboards.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the quality, consistency, and accessibility of financial data.
Minimum training and experience

  • 3-7 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, financial analysis, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and large-data analysis.
  • Experience owning financial forecasts, monthly reporting packages, budget-to-actual analyses, and financial models.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze P&Ls, identify key financial drivers, and communicate findings clearly to management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver accurate, timely analysis in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare, physician groups, medical practices, value-based care, or Medicare Advantage.
  • Experience analyzing medical claims, healthcare utilization, PMPM metrics, or medical expense trends.
  • Proficiency in Power Query, Power Pivot, Power BI, or other financial reporting and data analytics tools.
  • Experience working with large datasets and integrating financial and operational information.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
