Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree. Four years of professional administrative experience to include grants management, data and performance systems management, and/or financial and performance systems management is required.
Recruitment NotesThis position is part of the Community Development Division within the Department of Housing and Community Development and reports to the Division Director. The incumbent is responsible for managing the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development’s (HUD) Integrated Disbursement and Information Systems (IDIS) for the Department. This position is accountable for the grants management and reporting of community development programs to include federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnership Program (HOME), Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG);
and State of Florida Documentary Stamp Surtax (Surtax) and State Housing Initiatives Partnership (SHIP); and local funding programs.
Pursuant to the authority in Chapter 8B of the Code of Miami‑Dade County, when there is a declared state of emergency issued for any portion of Miami‑Dade County, all employees of Public Housing and Community Development will be required to adhere to directives from the Mayor or the Mayor's designee to report to work and perform all duties assigned during a declared state of emergency.
