PARKING ENFORCEMENT OFFICER I

Part-Time

SCHEDULE:

FLEXIBLE

SALARY RANGE $22.00- $33.00

• 1. Knowledge of public relations principles and techniques.
• 2. Knowledge of basic legal concepts as they relate to the enforcement of parking regulations.
• 3. Knowledge of authority rules, regulations and procedures.
• 4. Ability to use mobile or hand held radio equipment and related communications equipment.
• 5. Possession of a valid Florida State Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record for the past 5 years.
• 6. Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• 7. Parking Enforcement Certification IS REQUIRED
• 8. Internal candidates must have received a satisfactory rating of 80% or above on your last performance review and have remain in good standing (no disciplinary action in the last 6 months).

• 1. Operate a motor vehicle on a continuing basis in varied traffic and conditions and conducts routine patrolling of parking areas.
• 2. Issue traffic citations for non-moving violations.
• 3. Testifies in court proceedings related to work activity.
• 4. Operates law enforcement two-way radio equipment.
• 5. Completes a variety of administrative reports.
• 6. Performs related duties as required.
