This Adjunct faculty member provides instruction primarily in Pharmacy Technician courses and other related areas given appropriate credentials. Courses may be taught in an array of teaching modalities: MDC In‑Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online (online delivery) and Blended Classes.

• Teaches in lecture, laboratory and/or clinical settings
• Plans and organizes instructional materials to meet course objectives
• Participates in curriculum development and revision that stress innovation and multicultural emphasis
• Evaluates and advises students
• Participates in departmental and College affairs
• Develops curricula
• Teaches both, evening and weekend classes as needed
• Recruits students
• Serves on committees
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Associate’s degree and a Valid State of Florida Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician licensure/registration and 3 years of full‑time work and/or instructional experience as a Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician
• All educational degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
• Possess excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work well with students, faculty, staff and the community
• Must be able to travel between campuses, clinical sites and off‑campus offering sites
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that may include working nights and weekends
• Must be able to work effectively in a multi‑ethnic/multi‑cultural environment
