The Respiratory Care/Therapy Adjunct teaches courses in the lecture, laboratory, and/or clinical setting. Courses may be taught in MDC In‑Person, MDC Live (Learning Interactively in a Virtual Environment), MDC Online, or blended classes.

• Provides instruction in Respiratory Care/Therapy courses
• Evaluates and advises students
• Develops curricula
• Recruits students
• Serves on committees
• Performs other duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree in any field and Associate's degree in Respiratory Care;
  National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credential;
  Valid State of Florida Respiratory Therapist licensure; and 3 years of full‑time work and/or instructional experience in the field.
• All degrees from regionally accredited institutions.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well with students, faculty, staff, and the community.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to travel between campuses, clinical sites, and off‑campus offering sites.
• Basic computer skills.
