DescriptionWe are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a full-time, Monday‑Friday, 8:00am‑5:00pm position at our Miami office. This role involves in‑office procedures, medical terminology, multitasking, and handling a high volume of patients. A self‑starter who is willing to learn all aspects of ENT, Allergy and Audiology is required.
Responsibilities- Answer patient calls
- Take vitals
- Obtain authorizations
- Schedule diagnostic tests and surgery
- Prepare exam rooms
- Assist the physician in exam rooms for procedures as needed (e.g., wax removal, biopsies, surgical procedures)
- Obtain proper consent and ensure scope of practice is followed
- Document patient information as a scribe
- Clean and sterilize instruments per CDC and ENTAAF guidelines
- Brief each patient prior to physician entering the exam room
- Minimum one‑year hands‑on Medical Assistant experience
- Current certification or willingness to complete our in‑house 1‑year training and national test
- Comfortable assisting with surgical procedures
- Working knowledge of medical terminology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Professional interaction with patients, physicians, and team members
- EMR experience
- Strong computer literacy
- Bilingual is a plus
- Medical, Dental and Vision (effective 1st of the month after 60 days full‑time employment)

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to use office equipment, sit, stand, bend, stoop, lift up to 25 pounds, and assist patients with transfers. Travel between ENTAAF offices may be required. Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with disabilities.
SalarySalary will be based on experience and skills: $18.00 per hour.
