Injury Prevention Specialist - PRN

Position:Injury Prevention Specialist

Location: Miami, FL

Type of Employment: Per Diem/PRN

Schedule: Hours vary as needed, (Weekdays and Saturdays)

Compensation: $27/hr

Select Physical Therapy is currently hiring a PRN Injury Prevention-Work Strategies Specialist for an industrial setting. This is a great opportunity for an Athletic Trainer, exercise physiologist, EMT or individual of similar background. This Injury Prevention Specialist position is onsite at Miami International Airport.

• Delivery of full continuum of Onsite Injury Prevention Services at assigned location. Prevention Services include:
  • Assessment, triage, and first aid application for workplace injury/discomfort
  • Ergonomic risk assessment and implementation of ergonomic solutions
  • Design and implementation of functional assessments, preventative exercise and stretching
  • Job coaching and behavior modification both one-on-one and in group settings
  • Providing education and training on a wide range of injury prevention topics
  • Office ergonomics
  • Health and wellness consultation
• Document and report on employee encounters
• Regular communication with both client and Select leadership

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• CPR certification
• Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and prevention interventions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in an industrial setting
