USADA is seeking a dedicated and driven person to help our organization fulfill its mission to "Stand with athletes to champion their right to clean sport, inspire true and healthy sport, and promote the integrity of sport." This is an exciting opportunity to join Team USADA, especially as we prepare for major international competitions such as the 2026 Milan and 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games.
New team members will play a vital role in positioning USADA for these events and supporting the commitment to a clean Games.
This is a contracted, part-time position paid per draw collection. It is ideal for an existing mobile phlebotomist seeking additional work or someone interested in flexible, part-time hours.
- Perform venipunctures and specimen collection at facilities and athlete homes.
- Use proper identification procedures to ensure accurate collection.
- Establish rapport with athletes while maintaining professionalism.
- Follow infection control protocols at all times.
- Keep phlebotomy supplies stocked and organized.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- National Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency (see list below).
* Applicants certified before the specified dates must retake the exam. A current RN, NP, or PA credential also satisfies this requirement. CPT I & II in California are acceptable with the required certification.
Additional Requirements:
- At least 3 years of phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Professional demeanor and personable nature.
- Valid driver’s license with a suitable MVR.
- Ability to travel to various locations.
- Dependable transportation and flexible schedule.
Additional Certification:
- Obtain Safe Sport Certification after offer acceptance.
