UHealth Medical Campus, South Florida – University of Miami Health System.

• Oversee recall and safety alert programs for medical devices to assure compliance with patient safety goals and applicable requirements.
• Prioritize workload effectively and complete all work assignments in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate medical equipment documentation.
• Order parts and supplies necessary for servicing medical equipment.
• Conduct cross‑training in the techniques of testing, calibrating, operating, and troubleshooting biomedical systems for less experienced technicians.
• Report and document all medical equipment operation errors and safety issues.
• Maintain medical equipment technical library and update when appropriate.
• Supervise services provided by outside vendors to ensure quality and scope of services have been met.
• Inspect incoming equipment for compliance with codes, standards, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Adhere to University and unit‑level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
