The Health Facility Evaluator II conducts inspections of health care facilities across Florida to ensure compliance with state licensure and federal certification requirements under Medicare/Medicaid. The incumbent documents findings, completes survey reports, and may work as an individual, team member, or team leader. This position is mission-essential and may require work during weekends, holidays, and emergencies, with extensive travel including overnight stays.
Keyqualifications:
- Three years of professional or nonprofessional health care licensure, regulation, and/or certification experience
- Knowledge of state licensure and federal certification survey requirements
- Ability to develop and implement program monitoring methodologies
- Proficiency with computer equipment and Microsoft Office software
- Ability to travel with or without accommodations and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate effectively
