What You’ll Do
  • Meet with staff at shift start and review the front desk logbook.
  • Review all arrivals and departures, noting special requests and ensuring accurate billing.
  • Ensure all shifts are covered as scheduled.
  • Follow key-control policy, credit policies, and be knowledgeable of all fire and emergency procedures.
  • Complete the desk agents’ AM/PM checklist.
  • Handle guest situations calmly and professionally.
  • Lead by example in all employee duties.
  • Maintain professional communication with all hotel departments.
  • Ensure accuracy of groups, rooming lists, billing, amenities, arrivals, etc.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of back office, front desk, and front desk closet and inventory of office supplies.
  • Provide counsel and coaching to employees when necessary.
  • Ensure all employees complete their duties before departing and are posted at their stations on time.
  • Accountable for training and daily monitoring of all service levels, grooming, and uniform standards.
  • Accountable for meeting or coming in under payroll and expense budgets.
What You Bring
  • 2 years of related experience in hospitality or a similar industry.
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
