Job PurposeThe Nightlife Manager (Front of House Manager) is responsible for leading all late‑evening and guest‑facing operations, delivering a high‑energy, polished nightlife experience. This role oversees service execution, bar and floor operations, staff performance, guest engagement, and brand presentation during peak and late‑night hours. The Nightlife Manager ensures the venue maintains strong energy, seamless flow, responsible service, and operational discipline while driving revenue and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Lead and oversee all nightlife and guest‑facing service areas, including bars, servers, hosts, and support teams
- Actively manage the floor during peak and late‑night periods to maintain energy, pacing, crowd flow, and guest engagement
- Ensure consistent service standards aligned with Puttery’s nightlife brand, including presentation, tone, and hospitality execution
- Resolve guest concerns decisively and professionally to protect the guest experience and brand reputation
- Monitor venue atmosphere, music levels, lighting, and crowd dynamics to ensure an elevated nightlife environment
- Hire, train, coach, and develop nightlife and front‑of‑house team members
- Set clear expectations around professionalism, service standards, accountability, and guest interaction
- Conduct performance feedback, disciplinary actions, and recognition as appropriate
- Lead pre‑shift meetings focused on readiness, energy, and service priorities
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑accountability culture during late‑night operations
- Create and manage schedules aligned with business volume, nightlife demand, and labor targets
- Ensure proper staffing coverage for peak nights, private events, and high‑volume activations
- Monitor labor efficiency and make real‑time adjustments during service
- Drive revenue through strong bar execution, upselling, and guest engagement
- Support inventory oversight for bar and front‑of‑house supplies
- Monitor service efficiency, cash handling, and cost controls during nightlife operations
- Partner with Events, BOH, and Management teams to ensure seamless execution of private bookings and special events
- Enforce responsible alcohol service, crowd management, and food safety standards
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal labor laws and company policies
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and compliant workplace environment
- Address behavioral or safety issues swiftly to protect guests, staff, and the business
- 3+ years of management experience in high‑volume hospitality, nightlife, or entertainment venues
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast‑paced, late‑night environments
- Strong decision‑making skills with a calm, confident leadership presence
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and performance coaching
- Working knowledge of alcohol service regulations and nightlife best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Fast‑paced, high‑energy nightlife environment
- Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required
- Exposure to loud music, crowds, and nightlife‑style settings
- Extended periods of standing and walking
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and move throughout the venue as needed
