About the Role:

Hilton is seeking an exceptional General Manager to lead the opening of Waldorf Astoria Miami Beach, one of the most anticipated luxury resort debuts in the world. This executive will oversee all aspects of the property's transformation, opening, and ongoing operations while fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and personalized service.

The ideal candidate is a visionary luxury hospitality leader with a proven track record of opening or repositioning iconic hotels, building high-performing teams, driving financial performance, and delivering extraordinary guest experiences. This is a rare opportunity to shape the legacy of the first Waldorf Astoria in Miami Beach and establish it as a world-class luxury destination.

What are we looking for?

Basic Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years hotel General Manager experience managing a property with $60M or greater in revenue
• Experience managing luxury
• Able to strategically drive financial performance and profitability following a major renovation, leveraging targeted initiatives to maximize revenue and streamline costs
• Performance driven, with strong leadership capability and proven ability to attract, motivate, lead, inspire and direct a talented team towards driving excellent guest and employee satisfaction results
• Proven experience leading and managing a luxury property with extensive knowledge of Forbes 4 Star standards and practices
• Ability to build and maintain successful ownership relationships and partnerships

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven track record leading successful pre-opening and launch efforts
• Experience in strategic and tactical oversight of hotel renovations
• Residential/Condo experience

• Expertly manage capital expenses and property requirements by overseeing pre-opening budget and expenditure while ensuring that all property needs are efficiently met and aligned with organizational goals.
• Proactively engage with the regional team, senior leadership, ownership/asset manager by providing updates, successes, and address challenges with innovative solutions.
• Cultivate the hotel's service culture by aligning it with Motto brand values, core pillars and principles while building owner and community relations.
• Balance owner expectations with Hilton standards, effectively aligning both relationships and interests to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Be well-versed in compliance, legal, and crisis management matters, while cultivating strong relationships with Hilton's legal and risk management teams.
