Event Associates
- Seasonal, Miami FL (Onsite)

Events Seasonal Miami, Miami, FL, US

Today Requisition

Overview

Christmas Wonderland is hiring seasonal Event Associates. They are flexible, all-around team members who support event managers wherever the site needs them each night. The event runs at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40th St., Miami, from Nov. 12, 2026, through Jan. 3, 2027.

Event Associates are not tied to one post. Each shift, the event manager assigns them to the areas with the greatest need, and that assignment can change mid-shift. They report to the event manager on duty and take direction from area leads while assigned to their area.

Where They Work

Assignments may include any of these areas, based on nightly needs:

  • Entry and gate: ticket scanning, wristbands, line management and guest greeting
  • Guest services: questions, directions, lost and found, accessibility help and lost-child protocol support
  • Photos with Santa: line management and guest flow
  • Wonderland Market: vendor support, gift wrap and ornament stations
  • Trolley: spotter relief and boarding line support
  • Runner: moving supplies, radios and messages between areas

Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Report to the event manager at the start of each shift for assignment, and move between areas as directed
  • Learn the basic procedures for each area well enough to step in, provide relief or cover breaks
  • Deliver a friendly, consistent guest experience in every area
  • Keep assigned areas clean, stocked, safe and show-ready
  • Help set up before gates open and reset or close down areas at the end of the night
  • Spot and report safety hazards, damaged décor, outages and guest issues to the event manager by radio
  • Follow emergency, weather and lost-child procedures
  • Take on other tasks as assigned to support operations

Schedule

  • Seasonal, part-time, Nov. 12, 2026, through Jan. 3, 2027
  • Evening shifts, with weekend and holiday shifts required, including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
  • Paid training before opening night; attendance required

Physical requirements

  • Work outdoors in all weather for the full shift
  • Stand and walk for extended periods across a large outdoor site
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Work in low light, crowds and amplified music
