Job Title: Senior Manager, Human Resources, Southeast
Reports To: Senior Director, Human Resources, Retail
Job PurposeBased in Miami, Florida, the Senior Manager, Human Resources performs a wide variety of Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) duties throughout the employee lifecycle ensuring confidentiality, tact, professionalism, and maturity. The role works closely with Retail partners, HR team, and executive leadership.
Responsibilities Talent Management and Development- Act as a strong thought leader and subject matter expert on HRBP topics, including Talent Development and Performance Management strategies
- Identify learning and development needs for retail teams in partnership with the Talent Development team
- Communicate and drive talent management, development, retention and succession planning for Southeast retail teams
- Support Organization Management Review (OMR) and career mobility processes
- Support annual review processes in partnership with Senior Director, Human Resources – US
- Drive employee engagement through programs that motivate and inspire employees
- Co-lead on Performance Management training tool and key concepts
- Lead career conversations with retail talents
- Lead Employee Relations topics and investigations for Southeast regions, using effective interviewing and documentation techniques
- Communicate regularly regarding pending investigations and provide timely investigation reports with supporting documentation
- Partner with Legal and Asset Protection teams to conduct investigations and provide advice to HR leaders
- Analyze employee relations trends and develop proactive strategies, solutions, programs, and policies
- Develop relationships with HR leaders to promote positive employee relations and ensure high satisfaction and engagement
- Report employee relations cases in the internal employee relations tracker
- Partner with HR Controlling team in staff cost budget planning
- Improve work relationships, morale, and productivity with management and employees
- Align HR practices with business goals continuously
- Review processes and policies and propose improvements
- Collaborate with Senior Director, Human Resources and LVMH HR Business Partners to ensure best practices
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a highly complex environment
- Independent initiative and discretion with confidential information
- Organize and track important documents
- Deliver information clearly and concisely
- Credibility and integrity in communications
- Effective verbal and phone communication
- At least 7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. labor laws
- Experience in HR functional areas, especially talent management, development and employee relations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Occasional travel may be required
