Job DescriptionAs the Human Resources Coordinator for the World Cup 2026, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of one of the world’s largest sporting events. You will be the primary HR contact for SCORE‑related inquiries, ensuring seamless hiring, onboarding, and offboarding processes, and championing compliance and operational excellence. This is an opportunity to make a significant impact in a dynamic, multicultural environment, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

This role is a temporary staff position with an end date.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR‑related SCORE inquiries and provide support for the World Cup 2026.
- Collaborate and communicate with colleagues, clients, and employees, to ensure proper hiring and offboarding processes are followed, utilizing in‑house tools to complete transactions efficiently.
- Deliver timely and accurate hiring and onboarding metrics to clients and stakeholders, offering clear insights into progress and pacing.
- Oversee the staffing process by working closely with candidates, hiring managers, and HR colleagues to ensure the hiring process and documentation are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions, and maintain adherence to policies, procedures, and reporting standards.
- Participate in the hiring and onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Assist in the development, scheduling, and logistics of training materials.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred; OR minimum 1 year of relevant HR experience required.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (speaking, reading, writing).
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed, with flexibility for short‑notice assignments.
- Strong analytical skills for data‑driven decision making and report analysis.
- Prior experience in HR processes, including hiring, onboarding, and compliance preferred.
- Proficiency with HR software and internal tools preferred.
