About the RoleReporting to the Director of Operations, the Operations Support Assistant plays a key role in keeping internal teams running smoothly. You'll handle essential administrative tasks and contribute to the day-to-day operational processes by assisting with service delivery across departments. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys structure, problem-solving, and being the go-to support person for a high-performing team.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Support a wide range of administrative and operational activities, including payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for client employees.
- Maintain and audit employee and client records in HRIS and payroll systems.
- Support payroll processing through data entry, verification, and quality checks.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and special projects.
- Provide support to the Director of Operations, the operations team, and client partners as needed.
- Other assignments as needed.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional with the following qualifications.
Education & Experience- 1-2 years of experience in payroll, benefits administration, and HR support.
- Associate’s degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
- Experience working with iSolved, or a similar payroll processing system.
- Experience in a PEO or HR services environment is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with technical software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS systems, Dropbox, and Hub Spot.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bilingual (Spanish) – essential for serving our diverse client base.
- Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- Ability to excel independently with little supervision.
- Friendly personality that fosters positive client interactions.
Physical Requirements
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities may shift.
- This role requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs for office-related tasks.
- Compensation $20-25/hour (based on experience and qualifications).
