The Director, Talent Management leads the design and rollout of company-wide programs that help NCLH grow strong teams and great leaders. This role focuses on building clear, practical strategies for developing talent, supporting career growth, and preparing future leaders. Working closely with People Excellence (PX) partners and senior leaders across all NCLH brands, the Director ensures talent efforts align with company goals and reflect our values.

From succession planning to performance and leadership development, this leader helps shape the way we invest in our people at every level.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the development and execution of talent management strategies, including succession planning, performance management, leadership development, and high-potential identification.
  • Lead and develop a team of talent development professionals, providing strategic direction, coaching, and support to ensure the successful delivery of high-impact programs across the organization.
  • Design and manage enterprise-wide leadership development programs that support talent readiness and pipeline growth at all levels.
  • Oversee the integration and alignment of performance management systems with career development and business goals.
  • Partner with key stakeholders - including PXBPs and senior leadership - to embed talent practices that support organizational transformation and growth.
  • Lead the design and implementation of programs that promote internal mobility, workforce planning, and organizational capability building.
  • Leverage data analytics and insights to drive talent-related decisions and measure the impact of programs.
  • Ensure alignment of talent strategies with the NCLH value anchors and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) commitments.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development and Total Rewards to ensure programs and processes are synchronized and support a cohesive talent experience.
  • Serve as a coach and advisor to senior leaders regarding organizational effectiveness and leadership growth.
  • Stay current on talent management best practices, tools, and technologies, and recommend continuous improvements.
QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor s Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, or Organizational Development
  • Minimum of 4 years in a management or strategic HR leadership role
  • Demonstrated success in designing and executing enterprise-level talent and leadership programs
  • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization preferred
  • Proven ability to influence executive leadership and drive strategic change across functions

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS

  • Deep expertise in talent planning, leadership development, and performance management frameworks
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to connect talent initiatives to organizational outcomes
  • Strong data analysis and storytelling capabilities; able to translate metrics into actionable insights
  • Excellent project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Strong facilitation and coaching capabilities, particularly at the senior leadership level
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, drive innovation, and foster cross-functional collaboration

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES

  • Certifications such as Hogan, Korn Ferry, DiSC, or similar assessment/coaching tools (preferred)
  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SPHR) or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP (preferred)
