Epic Analyst - Professional Billing

The UHealth-University of Miami Health System IT Department has an opportunity for a full-time Epic Analyst - Professional Billing.

Core Responsibilities:

• Serve as a support contact for application end-users, identify issues, and resolve them.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain the application.
• Support all phases of testing and document workflow design.
• Analyze information technology in clinical work processes and validate impacts.
• Provide day-to-day application support, evaluate and resolve service tickets, implement changes, and retrieve data.
• Collaborate with trainers on application changes and develop documentation and training strategies.
• Assist with analyzing the impact of information technology in clinical workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations and support.
• Attend and participate in committees.
• Maintain communication with team members and participate in project meetings.
• Review project status with leadership.
• Learn about UHealth’s policies, procedures, and operations.
• Adhere to policies and safeguard assets.

Department Specific Functions:

• Understanding of revenue cycle management or billing operations experience.
• Travel during go-lives, conferences, and meetings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Dependability and ownership of work.
• Critical thinking abilities.

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Experience with Resolute Professional Billing and Single Billing Office.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to develop interpersonal relationships.
• Problem recognition and resolution skills.
• Leadership and training abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
