The Payments & Fraud Advisor is responsible for monitoring customer transactions, identifying unusual activity, preventing fraudulent behavior, and ensuring payments are processed accurately and efficiently. The role also includes monitoring gameplay behavior to detect irregular patterns and protect the integrity of the gaming environment.
Key Responsibilities Payments- Process withdrawals.
- Investigate failed or delayed transactions.
- Monitor withdrawal queues to ensure timely and accurate payout processing.
- Resolve customer payment queries professionally and efficiently.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate suspicious account activity including multi-accounting, chargebacks, bonus abuse, and account takeover attempts.
- Conduct risk assessments using internal fraud tools and alert systems.
- Analyse customer behaviour and transactional data to detect new or emerging fraud trends.
- Monitor gameplay activity to identify unusual patterns such as collusion, automated or bot‑like play, irregular betting strategies, chip dumping, advantage play or suspicious winning patterns.
- Review flagged gameplay sessions to ensure fairness and adherence to platform rules.
- Escalate gameplay concerns to the providers.
- Provide detailed reports on gameplay investigations and outcomes.
- Previous experience in a Payments, Fraud, or Risk role within the iGaming industry (required).
- Strong understanding of fraud patterns, payment flows, and gameplay risk indicators.
- Excellent analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
- Confident in reviewing large amounts of data and making sound decisions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work shifts including evenings or weekends.
- Previous experience performing gameplay reviews or game integrity checks.
- Strong Excel or reporting skills.
