Overview

Epic Analyst, MyChart — University of Miami Health System (UHealth). This is a full-time role in the IT Department.

Core Responsibilities
  • Serve as a primary support contact for application end-users; identify issues and resolve them.
  • Design, develop, implement, and maintain the Epic MyChart configuration and workflows.
  • Support all phases of testing and document workflow design.
  • Analyze information technology in clinical work processes and validate impacts to the workflow.
  • Provide day-to-day application support, evaluate and resolve service tickets, implement requested changes, and retrieve data promptly.
  • Collaborate with trainers on application changes and new features to develop documentation and training strategies.
  • Assist with analyzing the impact of information technology in clinical work processes.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and support; attend applicable committees; maintain regular communication with team and participate in weekly project team meetings.
  • Review project status and issues with leadership; become knowledgeable about UHealth policies, procedures, and business operations; adhere to University and unit-level policies and safeguard university assets.
Core Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • Epic MyChart Certification
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
  • Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems
  • Ability to lead, motivate, develop, and train others
  • Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
  • Commitment to the University’s core values
  • Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered
