Job Description We are seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Technical Instructor specializing in ArcGIS to join our team in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions on ArcGIS software, helping clients and employees enhance their GIS skills and effectively utilize spatial data tools. Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs on ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, and related Esri products.
* Create instructional materials such as manuals, tutorials, and presentations tailored to various skill levels.
* Conduct hands-on workshops and virtual training sessions to ensure practical understanding of GIS concepts and tools.
* Assess trainee progress and provide constructive feedback to improve learning outcomes.
* Stay current with the latest ArcGIS updates, GIS trends, and best practices to ensure training content remains relevant.
* Collaborate with technical teams and clients to customize training solutions based on specific project needs.
* Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during and after training sessions. Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 5+ Years proven experience working with ArcGIS software, including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
* Previous experience as a technical instructor, trainer, or educator, preferably in GIS or related technologies.
* Strong understanding of GIS concepts, spatial analysis, and cartography.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
* Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles and technical backgrounds.
* Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python for GIS automation is a plus.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
