Director, Digital Design – Burger King

We’re building a world‑class Design team at Burger King to lead digital transformation across Mobile, Kiosk, and Web. This role will drive strategy, mentor talent, and deliver high‑impact design solutions that balance user needs with business outcomes.
Role & Responsibilities- Oversee the full design lifecycle: research, concept development, prototyping, validation, and delivery.
- Establish and enforce design system standards to improve velocity, quality, and accessibility across products.
- Translate business goals into clear design strategies and roadmaps, tying design outcomes directly to measurable KPIs (e.g., conversion rates, order accuracy, NPS).
- Review and critique team output, ensuring solutions are user‑centered, visually compelling, and technically feasible.
- Drive innovation by staying ahead of industry trends and embedding emerging practices into team workflows.
- Coach and mentor designers at varying levels, fostering growth in craft, communication, and leadership.
- Create opportunities for designers to present work, collaborate cross‑functionally, and influence product direction.
- Build a culture of feedback, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.
- Advocate for professional development through training, workshops, and external design community engagement.
- 7–10+ years of experience in product or interaction design, with at least 3+ years managing design teams.
- Proven success scaling design practices across complex digital ecosystems.
- Strong track record of delivering designs that drove measurable impact (e.g., growth, engagement, operational efficiency).
- Expertise in user‑centered design, prototyping, usability testing, and design systems.
- Exceptional communication skills, with experience presenting to senior stakeholders and cross‑functional partners.
- Strong business acumen—ability to connect design decisions to business outcomes.
- Proficiency in Figma and prototyping tools (Framer, Webflow, etc.).
- Experience with analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics) to inform design decisions.
- Familiarity with front‑end fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Comfortable with agile product development using Jira or similar project management tools.

Salary: $140,000 – $192,500 (Miami, FL).
