CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking an experienced eDiscovery professional to support a large federal agency. The role involves providing full‑time IT legal support services, developing, modifying, and maintaining complex programs for litigation support applications, databases, and analytical systems.
Skills and Attributes for Success- Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs.
- Translate program requirements into code.
- Test, debug, and refine programs to process data per specifications.
- Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time.
- Develop data entry screens, user interfaces, and standardized reports; generate specialized and ad‑hoc reports as needed.
- United States citizenship.
- Substantial, hands‑on programming experience in the required system environment.
- At least two years of directly applicable experience.
- At least three years of overall programming experience, including large‑scale database management.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science or related discipline preferred.
- Broad knowledge of government IT environments – office automation networks, PC and server‑based databases and applications.
- Supervisory or team‑lead experience.
- Experience in automated litigation support.
