Senior UI/UX Designer (Hybrid)

Consumer Health Tech Startup
Location:
Miami, FL – Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Local candidates only due to onsite collaboration needs

Job Requirements:
5+ years of hands-on UI/UX design experience for web and mobile applications
Strong proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants, and design systems)
Experience conducting UX discovery activities (user interviews, journey mapping, usability testing)
Ability to translate business requirements and product ideas into low- and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes
Solid understanding of accessibility principles (WCAG) and inclusive design
Experience collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers in an Agile environment
Ability to create and maintain a scalable design system and component library
Comfortable presenting design rationale to stakeholders and incorporating feedback constructively
Experience designing flows for onboarding, dashboards, and transactional user journeys is preferred
Strong storytelling skills and the ability to advocate for the user while balancing business goals
