Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm with locations in 15 countries, is excited to offer a role that combines technology, learning, and collaboration. This position focuses on delivering training around GenAI and innovation tools to attorneys and staff.
Position SummaryThe Innovation Training Specialist supports the Innovation Training Manager by designing and delivering training programs on firm innovation tools. The role assesses learner needs, develops content, facilitates sessions, coordinates vendor training, tracks metrics, and contributes to special projects.
Key Responsibilities- Familiarity with law firm research and innovation tools (Westlaw Advantage, Lexis+, CoCounsel, Lex Machina, Intelligize+ AI, Copilot, Luminance).
- Assist the Innovation Training Manager in planning, developing, and implementing training programs on firm tools.
- Deliver training sessions—both in-person and virtual—on research and innovation tools.
- Support the creation and maintenance of training materials, documentation, and resources.
- Provide one‑on‑one or small group training to attorneys and staff adopting new tools.
- Collaborate with Innovation, Research, Knowledge Management, Professional Development, and business groups to coordinate training activities.
- Gather and report feedback on training sessions and user experiences.
- Assist in managing relationships with vendors for training programs.
- Participate in pilot programs, orientation sessions, and meetings, documenting results for review.
- Ensure training records and metrics are tracked in the Learning Management System.
- Stay informed on legal technology trends and instructional design best practices.
- Travel to various office locations as required.
- Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in facilitating and presenting training in classroom and virtual environments.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design, curriculum design, and adult‑learning principles.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Self‑starter with strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to client service.
- Bachelor’s degree in political science, business, library science, or a related field.
- Advanced degree in library science, research, or J.D. preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in the business or legal industry.
- Experience developing learning programs in a multi‑office environment and familiarity with learning management systems is a plus.
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Excel dashboards).
- Ability to analyze user data and feedback to improve training content.
- Familiarity with virtual training platforms (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) and interactive features (polls, breakout rooms, whiteboards).
