As a Cloud Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to design, deploy, and maintain cloud‑based solutions primarily on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will work closely with our clients, development teams, infrastructure teams, data & analytics team, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation and operation of cloud services.

• Azure Solution Design:
  Collaborate with development teams and architects to design cloud‑based solutions on the Azure platform. Evaluate requirements, propose design options, and recommend best practices for scalability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Azure Networking:
  Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure solutions using Azure services – configure and manage virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, network security groups, and load balancers. Configure IP‑Sec VPN tunnels and troubleshoot network‑related issues to minimize downtime.
• Azure Infrastructure Deployment:
  Deploy and configure Azure infrastructure components such as virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and load balancers. Implement automation and infrastructure‑as‑code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, Power Shell, or Azure CLI.
• Azure Service Provisioning:
  Provision and manage Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Active Directory (AAD).
• Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
  Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms. Investigate and resolve issues related to application availability, performance, and security. Perform root‑cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Security & Compliance:
  Implement and enforce security measures to protect Azure resources and data. Follow industry best practices and compliance standards; conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans with remediation actions.
• Backup & Disaster Recovery:
  Design and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies using Azure Backup and Azure Site Recovery.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
  Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and support project delivery. Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and deployment guides.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Stay up to date with the latest Azure features and industry trends; propose new solutions, tools, and methodologies to optimize infrastructure and streamline operations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud solutions on Azure (experience with AWS or GCP is a plus).
• Proficiency with Azure compute, storage, networking, and IAM services.
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking including virtual networks, VPN gateways, Express Route, Azure Firewall, and load balancers.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards for cloud environments.
• Understanding of cloud architecture patterns, scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Power Shell, or Azure CLI.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills in Azure environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
