Location:

Duration:
-24 months (with a high possibility of extension)
Job Responsibilities :
-
- Design and develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) to support Bid & Proposal efforts and on-going operations.
- Dev Ops leadership and IT Operations transformation experience with 80% packaged systems, 20% custom systems
- Experience with technical planning, deployment, integration, test/validation, and configuration of Commercial-off- the-Shelf (COTS), and custom software in both the Linux and Windows operating environments.
- Strong practical Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment (AWS, Azure, VMware, etc.).
- Lead technical solution development for Bid & Proposal efforts.
- Create technical estimates to support Bid & Proposal efforts.
- Support the development of reusable solutions for software intensive work efforts.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years design and implementation of Continuous Delivery and/or Dev Ops solutions or architecture patterns.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years managing an IT Operations environment
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ hands on experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Jenkins, SVN, Get, Chef, Ensile, Art factory, Service Now, Sonar, Selenium
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with approaches and tooling for automated build, delivery and release of software
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with managing teams including progress monitoring and reporting
- Minimum of 5 year of experience working in an Agile delivery environment
- Minimum of 5 year of experience with Linux (writing shell scripts)
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in automation scripting using one or more of the following languages:
Java, Perl, Ruby, or Python
Preferred
Skills:
- 5 years of Dev Ops leadership and transformation experience
- Environment Monitoring tools
- Candidate should have experience leading a multi-disciplinary teams, working in a fast paced, high velocity agile environment
- Approaches and tooling for automated software assurance and QA.
- The use of Public/Private cloud and Virtualization Technologies
- Experience with project or program management
- Defining and managing the roadmap for implementation of Dev Ops in an established operation.
- Working within a structured environment, including the use of structured methods and approaches and modern development tools.
- Experience of technical architecture – i.e. the design and delivery of IT systems for a broad range of clients
- Service support – the use of Dev Ops, Continuous Delivery and ITIL concepts to lead an effective support operation
- In-depth knowledge of technology trends and standards, both from a business and technical viewpoints.
- Certifications in AWS or Azure highly preferred
