Urgent need a Service Now Administrator / Developer in Miami, FL

Miami, FL has an immediate need for a Service Now Administrator / Developer. This is a 6 month contract to hire position.

Primary responsibilities include development, maintenance, administration and configuration of Service Now.

  • Serves as a developer and technical subject matter expert for the Service Now system.
  • Develops / implements new configurations and customizations for Service Now
  • Service Now development experience
  • C# or Java development experience
  • Implements new Service Now modules
  • Performs system and integration testing
  • Authors and maintains technical documentation
  • Runs reports and configures service level agreements (SLAs) out of Service Now
  • Analyzes user requirements in order to improve system capabilities, automate process workflows and address scheduling limitations throughout the development and delivery of the Service Now roadmap
  • Is responsible for the continuous review of new Service Now modules, as well as other commercially available software to ensure the Service Now platform and tools remain current
  • Is responsible for the creation and documentation of development, unit test cases and build plans.
  • Maintains an understanding of Service Now modules and software licensing functionality

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Successful Service Now implementation
  • Knowledge of process automation using Service Now Orchestration
  • Has attended Service Now Advanced System Administration and Orchestration courses

Additional Requirements:

  • 5+ years overall portal and development experience in a corporate environment
  • 4+ years Service Now working experience including development, design and implementation
  • Certified Service Now System Administrator preferred
  • Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes
  • ITIL Certification (preferred but not required)
  • Knowledge of Risk Management, Compliance, Audit, Information Security and Technical Privacy
  • Knowledge of Incident, CMS, Facilities, Knowledge, CMDB and reports / metrics
  • Experience with Active Directory & LDAP in an administrative capacity
