We are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to own our internal Platform as a Product
. In this role, you will partner closely with engineering leadership and a dedicated platform engineering team to evolve the platform from a ticket-driven support model into a scalable, self-service product. You will define the platform vision, roadmap, and success metrics while driving measurable improvements in developer experience, delivery velocity, reliability, security, and cloud cost efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Define and continuously refine the platform vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap, including paved roads, golden paths, self-service capabilities, and internal developer platform features.
  • Translate organizational and engineering priorities into clear outcomes, OKRs, and KPIs (e.g., lead time, MTTR, SLO attainment, change failure rate, cloud cost efficiency).
  • Communicate platform strategy and roadmap across engineering, product, security, data, and infrastructure stakeholders.
Backlog & Delivery Management
  • Manage intake and triage of platform requests, balancing strategic initiatives with operational needs.
  • Prioritize work using impact, effort, risk reduction, cost savings, and developer adoption criteria.
  • Partner with engineering leadership to drive execution, defining acceptance criteria, milestones, and sprint workflows.
Developer Experience & Self-Service
  • Productize platform capabilities into reusable components such as service templates, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, environment provisioning, secrets management, and observability by default.
  • Lead adoption of
Internal Developer Portals and service catalogs.
  • Define, measure, and iterate on golden paths to reduce onboarding time and accelerate time‑to‑production.
Reliability, Security & Compliance
  • Partner with reliability and security teams to define SLOs, error budgets, incident processes, and change management controls.
  • Ensure platform upgrades (e.g., Kubernetes, runtimes, libraries) are delivered with minimal disruption.
  • Embed security-by-default principles, including least‑privilege IAM, SBOMs, image signing, and supply‑chain controls.
Fin Ops & Cost Optimization
  • Own cloud cost KPIs and unit-cost metrics.
  • Drive cost optimization strategies such as rightsizing, autoscaling, lifecycle policies, and governance of storage and data transfer.
  • Provide transparent cost reporting and forecasting for leadership and stakeholders.
Stakeholder & Change Management
  • Facilitate regular forums to align priorities, communicate trade‑offs, and manage expectations.
  • Conduct user research with internal teams, run pilots, gather feedback, and iterate rapidly.
  • Maintain clear documentation, release notes, and enablement materials to support adoption.
Requirements
  • 5–8+ years of experience in technical or platform product management
, or similar roles supporting engineering teams.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure
, Kubernetes-based platforms, networking, IAM, CI/CD, observability, and modern application architectures.
  • Proven experience building
    self-service platform capabilities
, internal developer portals, or service catalogs.
  • Demonstrated
    Fin Ops awareness
, including unit economics, cost visibility, and optimization strategies.
  • Strong product management skills, including discovery, prioritization frameworks, OKRs, KPI design, phased rollouts, and deprecation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and cross‑functional leadership skills.
Nice to Have
  • Background as a
    software engineer or SRE
, with the ability to understand code and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Git Ops, Helm).
  • Familiarity with modern
Dev Ops, platform engineering, and observability tooling
    .
  • Experience designing highly available, multi-region systems and zero‑downtime upgrade strategies.
  • Exposure to compliance or governance requirements in regulated or high‑traffic environments.
