VIP IT Support Specialist

GCyber is hiring a VIP IT Support Specialist to support our newly awarded United States Coast Guard (USCG) Maverick contract.

• Possess strong technical skills in hardware/software, networking basics, and troubleshooting, paired with soft skills in communication, problem‑solving, and customer service.
• Demonstrate attention to detail, time management, and adaptability to keep pace with evolving technology.
• Provide immediate IT support to the Admiral and his team under the eVIP Program, ensuring rapid restoration of operations.
• Resolve issues across computer hardware, software, and mobile devices (iPhone, iPad) in office environments.
• Handle unclassified systems directly and, when needed, elevate classified system issues to the SIPR Helpdesk Lead.

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5‑8 years of relevant experience (or commensurate experience).
• 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+, CCNA‑Security, CND, CySA+, GCSP, GSEC, SSCP).
• Knowledge of Service Now Ticketing System.
• Knowledge of M365 applications.
• Experience with remote tools such as Virtual Private Network (VPN) and MANTA.
