The Technical Manager role is responsible for producing scalable software solutions from concept to completion, which includes the full software development lifecycle, from planning, product design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance. The role will lead a team of developers while remaining hands‑on, ensuring both strong technical execution and effective team leadership.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with Product Managers and other development team members to ideate software solutions, including participating in scoping, timeline estimation and product design.
- Design client‑side and server‑side architecture using industry best practices.
- Build the front‑end of applications through appealing and user‑friendly standard visual design.
- Develop and manage well‑functioning databases and design effective APIs to integrate with the enterprise integration engine and API management tools.
- Perform unit and software testing for responsiveness and efficiency.
- Conduct detailed technical documentation and change management. Troubleshoot and debug issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, such as, but not limited to, Integration, Data warehouse and Clinical IT teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate solutions, present updates, and solicit design feedback.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Perform all other related job duties as assigned.
Generally requires 3 to 5 years of related experience.
EducationBachelor’s degree in computer science or related field is required.
