Role Overview

This is a strategic role for an organized individual with a strong interest in data and analytics within the luxury business. The Analytics Manager will be responsible for extending the capabilities of Richemont's analytics tools, working closely with Maisons and functions to address business needs and solve complex problems. The role emphasizes driving business value through actionable data insights, leading analytics projects from conception to delivery, and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partnering and Driving Value:
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Maisons to identify and leverage business value through data insights.
  • Leading Analytics Projects:
    • Understand, define, and document business requirements.
    • Design and develop data models for analytics platforms.
    • Develop, maintain, and enhance analytics solutions to improve business insight.
    • Explore data and create effective data storytelling and marketing presentations for various stakeholders.
  • Data Collection and Process Definition:
    Collect additional data by developing business applications and defining new business processes.
  • Education and Best Practices:
    Assist in educating analysts on best practices related to data and analytics (e.g., data modeling, data exploration, job scheduling, data visualization).
  • Ad Hoc Analysis:
    Support the executive team with ad hoc analysis concerning business and functional performance.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field is required.
  • Experience:
    • Over 5 years of IT, Business Intelligence, or Data Management experience preferred.
    • Strong experience in manipulating large datasets (>1 million rows).
    • At least 3 years of strong experience in analytics and data storytelling using visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Technical

    Skills:
    • Experience with Cloud data modeling.
    • Experienced in SQL and Python.
    • Experienced with Looker and LookML.
  • Data Management & Governance:
    • Knowledge of how to manage, analyze, and synthesize data to deliver insights and support organizational decisions.
    • Skill in creating tools and capabilities for loading, cleansing, enriching, managing, and sharing data from various sources.
    • Experience in developing data strategy, policies, and procedures, and successfully executing data management and governance programs.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Ability to synthesize business priorities into a cohesive vision for data management.
    • Ability to relay complex data-related issues clearly to both technical and non-technical personnel.
    • Strong collaborative skills in a team-oriented environment across organizational lines and levels.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Entrepreneurial, innovative, and team-oriented with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
