Position Title:
Service Now Developer (TS/SCI Cleared)
We are seeking an experienced Service Now Developer to support mission-critical systems in a secure DoD/federal environment. This role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and strong hands‑on experience developing, configuring, and enhancing Service Now solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong scripting skills, and experience working in enterprise‑scale or government environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Service Now applications and platform components
- Customize Service Now modules including (but not limited to): ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, Service Portal, and Workflow/Flow Designer
- Develop and maintain scripts using JavaScript, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, and UI Actions
- Build and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and MID Servers
- Support Service Now upgrades, patches, and platform enhancements
- Collaborate with system owners, stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
- Ensure solutions align with DoD and federal security, compliance, and governance standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues while ensuring system performance and reliability
- Document technical designs, configurations, and operational procedures
- Active TS/SCI Clearance (required)
- 4+ years of relevant Service Now development experience
- Demonstrated experience developing Service Now solutions in DoD, federal, or large enterprise environments
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and Service Now scripting
- Hands‑on experience with Service Now configuration, customization, and platform architecture
- Experience supporting Service Now in a secure or regulated environment
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- Additional Service Now certifications (CAD, CIS, etc.)
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, or custom application development
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience integrating Service Now with external enterprise systems
- Work performed in a secure, cleared environment
- Onsite or hybrid work may be required based on program needs
$140,000 - $180,000 a year
