Identity Engineer

IAM Engineer – On site in Miami – Contract

Talento has partnered with a large organization on a contract IAM Engineer role. The Identity Engineer supports the organization’s identity and access management (IAM) platforms to ensure secure, efficient, and compliant user access across systems and applications. This role manages provisioning workflows, maintains identity governance processes, and assists with MFA, SSO, and access control initiatives. The Identity Engineer plays a key role in strengthening security posture and ensuring smooth authentication experiences for end users.

• 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or related IT security roles
• Hands‑on experience with IAM platforms (e.g., Okta, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or similar)
• Understanding of identity governance, role‑based access control (RBAC), and provisioning workflows
• Experience implementing or supporting MFA, SSO, and conditional access policies
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements
• Scripting experience (Power Shell, Python, or similar) is a plus
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with security, IT, and application teams

• Support daily IAM platform operations, including access provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management
• Maintain identity governance workflows to ensure proper access controls and compliance alignment
• Assist in configuring and managing MFA, SSO, and authentication policies
• Monitor and troubleshoot identity‑related issues across systems and applications
• Support audits, access reviews, and compliance reporting activities
• Collaborate with security and infrastructure teams to improve identity processes and reduce risk
• Document configurations, procedures, and identity workflows
