Peskind Executive Search has been exclusively retained to identify a Head of Quantitative Trading & Strategy
, an entrepreneurial technical leader who will design, build, and scale the company’s automated trading systems and pricing algorithms from inception.

This individual will own the architecture, codebase, and real-time execution strategies that directly drive revenue and profitability. Working closely with the CEO, you will shape the company’s quantitative direction, drive innovation in predictive modeling, and lead a small, high-impact team of engineers and analysts.

• Architect and own the company’s trading infrastructure, data pipelines, and execution engines.

• Design, implement, and optimize high-performance, fault-tolerant trading systems.

• Develop and refine predictive models for pricing, demand forecasting, and market efficiency.

• Build real-time dashboards and monitoring tools for trading performance, P&L, and risk exposure.

• Partner directly with executive leadership to prioritize strategy and identify emerging opportunities.

• Lead, mentor, and grow a technical team as the organization scales its quantitative operations.

• Continuously enhance system speed, data integrity, and model profitability.

• 5+ years of experience in quantitative trading, algorithmic strategy, or prop trading environments.

• Advanced technical expertise in Python, SQL, APIs, and data engineering frameworks

• Proven track record designing and deploying real-time trading or optimization systems.

• Strong understanding of market microstructure, risk, and statistical modeling.

• Entrepreneurial, hands‑on mindset with a bias toward execution and measurable results.

• Excellent communication skills — able to distill complex models into actionable business insights.

• Exposure to dynamic pricing, high-frequency commerce, or live event industries.

• Prior experience in startup or fintech settings with P&L ownership or performance-based incentives.

Our client offers a highly competitive package aligned with performance and profitability:

• Base Salary: $250,000 – $350,000 (depending on experience)

• Performance Bonus: Up to 20% of strategy-driven P&L, net of expenses

• Alternative Structure: Lower base with higher revenue share for candidates seeking greater upside
