This position reports to the Enterprise Applications Director and must be based within commuting distance of one of HRW’s offices in New York, Chicago, Washington, Stockholm, Miami, London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Nairobi, Sao Paulo, or Johannesburg.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as HRW’s primary integration architect, overseeing end‑to‑end integration strategy, patterns, and data flows across core platforms (such as Salesforce or Net Suite) and third‑party systems.
  • Lead and manage the Integrations Team, providing direction, technical guidance, and performance oversight for developers working in Dell Boomi and other integration technologies.
  • Partner closely with the Enterprise Applications CRM and ERP teams to ensure alignment across platforms and maintain architectural integrity across the full enterprise application ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with Information Security and IT Operations to ensure integrations meet security, compliance, infrastructure, and operational standards.
  • Work closely with business partners including FSDA in Development, FP&A, and Finance to ensure integrations support accurate data flows, operational needs, and long‑term business objectives.
Cross‑System Requirements & Solution Design
  • Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to validate integration requirements, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with HRW’s SDLC standards.
  • Translate functional needs into scalable technical integration designs, including data mapping, API usage, orchestration flows, and system interdependencies.
  • Create and maintain documentation for integration specifications, system diagrams, and data models.
Integration Development & Oversight
  • Oversee development, configuration, and maintenance of HRW’s integration workflows, primarily using Dell Boomi.
  • Manage versioning, deployment pipelines, and change management processes for all integration components.
  • Ensure integrations are efficient, secure, resilient, and optimized for long‑term reliability.
  • Create reusable Boomi frameworks, patterns, and components to accelerate development and improve consistency across integrations.
  • Define standardized error handling, retry logic, exception routing, and logging patterns for all integrations.
Data Flow & Data Quality Management
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and consistent data flow across core systems, supporting data integrity and reliable reporting.
  • Partner with the CRM and ERP teams to define and uphold enterprise data standards, naming conventions, and data governance practices.
  • Oversee proactive monitoring of integration performance, bottlenecks, and error rates.
SDLC & Release Management
  • Manage the full SDLC for integration‑related development, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and post‑production support.
  • Ensure all integration changes follow HRW’s formal change management, documentation, and approval processes.
  • Coordinate with other EA teams to sequence work across releases, minimize disruption, and ensure smooth system interactions.
  • Manage integration environments across development, testing, and production, ensuring deployment pipelines are controlled, predictable, and compliant with SDLC standards.
  • Oversee QA processes for all integration updates, ensuring accuracy, performance, and data security before deployment.
