Position Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and mission-driven Senior Operations Lead to join our team in support of U.S. Southern Command (USSOUTHCOM). This individual will play a critical role in advancing operational objectives through expert coordination, strategic oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in C5
ISR operations, a strong understanding of military intelligence processes, and the ability to navigate complex interagency environments.
This position plays a vital role in supporting operational objectives under a long-standing contract that has delivered over a decade of continuous support to USSOUTHCOM in areas such as Counter Narcotics, Countering Transnational Organized Crime, C5
ISR, and intelligence analysis.
- Provide subject matter expertise in C5
ISR operations. - Serve as liaison for information exchange between operations, maintenance, and logistics personnel.
- Oversee Projects under the TO.
- Coordinate with Government personnel and agencies to align operational activities with USSOUTHCOM mission objectives.
- Ensure all information release and acceptance complies with security controls, classification requirements, and technological considerations.
- Maintain a consistent onsite presence at USSOUTHCOM headquarters in Doral, FL.
- Travel to domestic (CONUS) and international (OCONUS) locations as required.
- Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Minimum of five years of experience in operations management within major commands and the military intelligence community.
- Minimum of five years of experience with ISR technologies, military operations, and the intelligence life cycle.
- Minimum of five years of experience managing operations and directing personnel under contracts of similar scope and complexity within the USSOUTHCOM AOR, with demonstrated compliance with DoD regulations.
- Proven experience in coalition-building across internal teams and with other Federal agencies or intelligence community organizations to achieve shared objectives.
- Experience working to build partner nation capacity and provide tailored C5
ISR, training, and documentation to partner nations, especially within SOUTHCOM s AOR, highly desired.
