Were building a next-generation SaaS platform powered by multi-agent AI to automate complex analytical work in finance and investment.
Our goal is to become the go-to application for founders, investors, investment banks, and private equity firms, streamlining tasks like memo writing, market research, due diligence, and more.
Backed by business angels from J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Meta, and supported by Microsoft, we are now scaling both product and engineering.
Role Overview
As CTO and late co-founder, you will take full ownership of the tech stack will shape the product roadmap, make key architectural decisions, and establish a strong engineering culture. Your work will be central to positioning Black Fluo as a category-defining platform at the intersection of AI and finance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement an AI architecture using multi-agent frameworks (Lang Chain, CrewAI, RAG, knowledge graphs)
• Lead cloud infrastructure and MLOps workflows (Docker, MLflow, Azure ML, AKS/EKS)
• Build data pipelines and search systems (Neo4j, FAISS, PySpark, Azure Cognitive Search)
• Translate business needs (VC, M&A, Private Equity) into robust NLP-based solutions
• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing engineering team
• Ensure quality, security, and compliance (SOC 2 preparation)
What Were Looking For
• 4 to 6+ years of experience in applied AI, with a focus on NLP, LLMs, and RAG
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS), CI/CD, and MLOps tools
• Experience in early-stage startups or scale-ups
• Autonomous and proactive, while able to collaborate closely with founders
• Comfortable working across tech, product, and business strategy
• Bonus: experience in financial services or B2B SaaS startups
