Senior Program Specialist​/Program Manager

Overview

NV5 Geospatial (NV5G) is actively recruiting a Senior Program Specialist. Strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills are required to engage with senior DoD and interagency stakeholders effectively. The specialist will be based in US Army Garrison – Miami / US Southern Command. US citizenship, along with the ability to successfully pass a basic background check for access to US military bases, is required for employment.

Successful candidate will be required to obtain TS / SCI clearance.

• Oversee contract execution, stakeholder coordination, and strategic alignment across all task orders.
• Responsible for risk management and budget oversight.
• Responsible for monitoring and reporting on project performance.
• Provide technical, operational and intelligence advisory support that enable the command, its subordinate units, and other strategic and operational partners to integrate within a technology platform.
• Conduct briefings and debriefings related to technology integration, task management and mitigation.
• Create and maintain project milestones and roadmaps.
• Mentor, train, and advise senior leadership.
• Working knowledge of Esri ArcGIS Enterprise systems.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Program Management, or a related field, or ten (10) years of equivalent experience in managing large-scale DoD programs.
• Demonstrated experience in program lifecycle management, resource allocation, risk mitigation, and compliance with DoD acquisition and governance frameworks.
• Experience with interagency coordination, DoD contract execution, and performance evaluation is required
• Experience with business process analysis, data management, and enterprise geodatabase modeling.
• Demonstrated experience working within an Agile software development methodology, using the Scrum framework.
• Ability to manage and prioritize complex project tasks.
• Excellent written communication skills and ability to write / compile technical information.
• Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• PMP certified.
• Ability to travel, as needed ~ 5-15%.

• Portuguese or Spanish language skills.
• Active TC / SCI.
• Experience with government IT programs and environments.
