At Oceans, we help the best and brightest of Sri Lanka to take advantage of opportunities that otherwise wouldn’t be available to them, while supporting entrepreneurs around the world. Our community (we call them Divers) don’t do surface work; they go deep to solve complex challenges and make a real impact. And in doing so, they support bold ideas and expand their skills, broaden their expertise, and grow their careers, all without having to leave family and friends.
We’re hiring a Growth Marketer (Product-Led Growth) to partner with a fast‑growing B2B SaaS company building the leading Salesforce Dev Ops, security, and backup platform. The company is now launching a new product built for Salesforce developers, architects, and admins designed to drive adoption through a product‑led growth (PLG) motion for the first time.
This is a high‑visibility, hands‑on role for an analytical and creative growth marketer ready to build, launch, and scale PLG campaigns from scratch.
AccountabilityAs a Growth Marketer, your success will be defined by your ability to design, execute, and optimize product‑led growth initiatives from acquisition through activation, retention, and revenue. You’ll collaborate across product, analytics, and marketing teams to establish the foundation for a PLG engine that scales. Here’s how you’ll make an impact:
Product-Led Growth Activation- Launch campaigns targeting Salesforce developers, admins, and architects.
- Design onboarding funnels and identify drop‑off points to accelerate time‑to‑value.
- Instrument analytics to track activation, retention, and revenue conversion.
- Collaborate with product and engineering to integrate growth loops and referral mechanisms.
- Define PQL (Product‑Qualified Lead) criteria and build dashboards to measure progress.
- Develop A/B tests to refine onboarding, messaging, and conversion flows.
- Translate user data into actionable insights addressing friction points quickly.
- Establish frameworks for growth experimentation and structured reporting (AARRR, activation, usage depth, etc.).
- Execute multi‑channel digital campaigns across Linked In, email, and developer communities.
- Optimize paid and organic channels for cost‑effective acquisition.
- Partner with analytics to build dashboards for tracking performance and attribution.
- Build retention systems and referral mechanics to increase organic adoption.
- Create automated lifecycle communications that nudge activation and upsell.
- Drive measurable outcomes from free‑to‑paid conversion.
You’ll work directly with internal and external stakeholders to bridge creative marketing with analytical problem‑solving. At Oceans, you’ll also receive guidance and support from our Operations Manager, who will help you succeed in the role and ensure that you’re continuously growing and developing in your career.
Skills & QualificationsAt Oceans, we believe in T‑shaped individuals who bring deep expertise in one area, paired with broad curiosity and interests. As a Growth Marketer, your vertical focus will be in product‑led growth strategy and experimentation, while your horizontal focus will include campaign execution, analytics, and lifecycle optimization.
