Energy Technician 3
The University of Miami/UHealth department of Facilities has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Energy Technician 3 to work at the UHealth Medical Campus. The Energy Technician 3 is licensed and performs energy and building systems maintenance, repair work, and responds to the corrective needs of energy equipment, and system components.
- Oversees preventative maintenance programs of the assigned areas.
- Addresses and provides corrective actions and measures for all unforeseen emergencies and disruptions.
- Ensures accuracy of the building maintenance management data to safeguard system integrity.
- Analyzes, monitors, and evaluates operation of relevant software.
- Anticipates and determines appropriate directions and methods to resolve user and system problems.
- Produces scheduling and project status reports.
- Acts as liaison between software consultants, other departments, and IT.
- Maintains, calibrates, tests, and operates automated electronic-mechanical equipment and troubleshoots the electronic controls and mechanical systems.
- Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.

Core Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certification in relevant specialty or field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and/or in a collaborative environment.
