Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
- Provide first-level technical support to employees by responding to IT support requests and answering questions related to computer systems and applications.
- Support the setup, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and cabling.
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.
- Assist with employee onboarding by setting up new user accounts, configuring workstations, and providing basic system orientation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of IT equipment, devices, and supplies.
- Document technical procedures and assist in the creation of user guides and support documentation as needed.
- Support and adhere to safety and food safety infrastructure, processes, and protocols as assigned.
- Support special IT projects and initiatives assigned by the Lead IT Analyst or management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational and departmental needs.
Qualifications:
- All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR §, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support, technical assistance, or working with computer systems preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and basic operating systems; basic knowledge of computer hardware, software applications, and networking fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and support new technologies and systems.
- Proactive, well-organized, and capable of managing a substantial workload.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks within given time frames and meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to accurately monitor inventory usage and minimize wastage.
- Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.
