We are seeking an experienced, results-driven,
Applications Enterprise Architect to join our Digital Practice focused on accelerating our client’s business initiatives specific to application modernization, public cloud adoption, and strategic transformation. In this role, you will play a critical part in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.

This role requires a combination of a high degree of technical competency aligned with good social skills and is ideally suited to a former hands-on senior/lead consultant. You must be able to take a holistic view of any opportunity, and understand not only the specifics of the requirement, but also the dependencies and peripheral services which may influence the solution.

• Facilitate strategy, roadmap, design, and planning workshops
• Ensure that customer expectations are appropriately set and managed
• Own the end-to-end scope of our solutions, across multiple domains, in the delivery of service offerings
• Break down the problem into manageable segments, identifies the factors that affect the problem and decides how to approach the project
• Presentation of deliverables to client executive management

• Support business development pursuits through client discovery meetings that help qualify opportunities and allow the ideation of a strawman proposal
• Represent service offerings during the sales cycle, including project scoping, proposal development, and presenting proposals to clients
• Develop and promote relationships with customers and present technical solutions to C-Level executives

• Develop and enhance Ensono’s Advisory services offerings, including consulting offerings and deployment services
• Technology thought leader and evangelist
• Maintain a broad knowledge and understanding of the current and anticipated future state of the IT marketplace including IT trends, technologies, and standards
• Mentor to team members

• Senior-level consulting experience
• Minimum 15 years of experience as senior information technology leader overseeing transformative modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud adoption, automation, platform engineering, agile-at-scale adoption)
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Software Development Lifecycle principles
• Experience in evaluating and recommending optimal migration paths for Mainframe Modernization
• Knowledge and working experience with designing and implementing modern architecture patterns (e.g. microservices, event-driven) for mainframe applications
• Minimum of five years of executive technology consulting experience
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or similar discipline
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated Business Acumen
• Ability to solve complex, abstract problems
• Excellent interpersonal skills, good listener, ability to connect with different personalities
• Executive presence
• Demonstrated experience as a technology change agent
