Senior Dev Ops Engineer – AWS ML Pipelines & Fin Ops Job  #734912-month W-2 contract (renewal likely)

A Tier-1 U.S. bank is modernising its 20-year-old core platform. We need a seasoned Dev Ops engineer to design and operate Sage Maker-based ML pipelines in AWS while meeting strict security, uptime, and cost-management requirements.

• Provision secure landing zones with AWS CDK and Terraform; implement least-privilege IAM.
• Build Git Ops pipelines in Argo CD for continuous model retraining, blue/green inference, and data-drift checks.
• Break monolithic services into EKS microservices behind API Gateway with zero‑downtime principles.
• Set up Cloud Watch and Grafana dashboards for latency, cost, and data‑quality SLOs with real‑time alerts.
• Apply policy‑as‑code (OPA or Kyverno) so every container meets banking‑grade compliance at commit time.
• Champion infrastructure‑as‑code: every subnet, secret, and S3 bucket lands through a pull request.

• 7+ years Dev Ops / SRE on AWS, with at least 3 years supporting ML or data‑heavy platforms.
• Deep expertise in Terraform or CDK, containers, and EKS operations.
• Demonstrated Fin Ops results in regulated environments (banking, healthcare, etc.).
• Strong experience with Sage Maker; familiarity with Bedrock, EMR, Kafka, or Iceberg is a plus.
• Proficiency with Cloud Watch, Grafana, Prometheus, Trivy, Falco, and related security tools.
• Clear, concise communicator committed to blameless post‑mortems.
• BS in Computer Science (or equivalent). AWS Professional or CKA cert preferred.

• Dedicated budget for CKA, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or Fin Ops Practitioner certification.
